2024 NORCAL RAD!
Hey everybody! It's your favorite team here at HRB, this year again we had the chance to attend NorCal Radwood!
For those of you who don't know, RADwood is a trip back in time to celebrate the 80s and 90s car culture. It's all about the flash, the flair, and the fun! People were rocking their best retro outfits, making the whole vibe just perfect.
Compared to our last visit, we skipped a year (yeah we know we suck) this time around it was organized right in the heart of the Bay Area. It was way bigger than last time, but maybe because of this something was lost …it just didn’t feel the same.
So, we rolled up to 2024 RADwood, and let me tell you, we expected a lot of BMWs. And we were not disappointed! We were ready to see some pristine, museum-quality cars, but guess what? There was everything from show cars to daily drivers, really refreshing in this age of bling and shiny stuff.
The crowd! Man, it was a melting pot of cultures and ages, what else could one expect of an event in San Francisco? Jason Cammisa was in the house doing a live version of his podcast and displaying his pristine 8-Series (we should reach out to see if he wants a DSSR) a really amazing-looking color and spec that has aged like the Northern California wine.
Same as the last time, the show had it all—track specials, daily drivers and the oddities that probably see more polish than sunlight, and – of course – plenty of BMWs. The love and passion for what we can now call classics is as strong as ever! It's growing, too. With both old-school fans and the new generation getting more and more into it. And you know we're all about supporting that!
We're already pumped for next year. Our E36 wasn't up to the task for the show this time around, but we had our Cayenne doing the rounds, let us know if you snapped a picture of our rig while stuck in SF traffic.
If you were at the event, hit us up! We want to know your thoughts! Full picture gallery available below
As always, stay RAD!
